Take a ride 14 - 24 March 27th London Lesbian & Gay Film Festival In its 27th year, the London Lesbian & Gay Film Festival (LLGFF) brings the best in lesbian and gay cinema to BFI Southbank and selected venues around the city
As the UK's third-largest film festival, LLGFF attracts hundreds of visiting filmmakers, cast, crew and over 250,000 visitors each year. The festival generally shows around 250 feature films, documentaries and short films, alongside events, club nights and more. Welcome to the 27th BFI London Lesbian & Gay Film Festival. We’re delighted to be back at BFI Southbank with a new look programme that’s packed full of great films. This year we’ve divided the films into three handy sections: Hearts, Bodies and Minds. It’s all very moody and instinctive, and most importantly, it will help you find the films you like, whether it is short films, feature length drama, documentary, or archive classics that capture your imagination. Hearts is all about romance, love and friendship. It’s where you’ll find films that are warm and emotional; Bodies has films about sex, identity and transformation if you’re drawn to the physical; and Minds is a celebration of cerebral pleasures with reflections and debate on art, politics and community.Read More
